Circle 10 was once the only gallery in Pamlico and Craven Counties. It is the oldest cooperative in Eastern NC. Part of the gallery’s mission has always been to encourage art in the schools and community. We have featured guest artist’s work that one would have to travel far to see. For many reasons, least of which is the fact that we love art — we love making art, and we believe giving back to the community is a good thing to do.
We are not a professional commercial gallery. As a co-operative, each of our artists pays dues and volunteers well over 200 hours a year managing and maintaining a business and a building — with no guarantee of making a single sale. Often, members go months with no return. So why do we do it?
We are fortunate and grateful to have many patrons and devoted Associate members who actively continue to support us each year, and we extend an invitation to you to join us in support of our mission.
